Apple is getting close to letting people watch videos on their car’s CarPlay screen but only when the car is parked. In the new iOS 26.4 beta, hidden clues show that CarPlay will soon support video streaming using AirPlay. A developer even managed to test it in a simulator, showing that apps that support AirPlay can send video to the car display, and there will even be an Apple TV app on CarPlay. This means you could watch movies, shows, or even MLS games right in your parked car. Apple still needs car manufacturers to enable the feature for safety reasons, so it might take a little time before everyone gets it, but it looks like it’s coming soon.
